Open market housing for Local Non-National Expatriates

Employees on a Local Non-National contract will receive an allowance towards the cost of renting a house and will be able to choose accommodation themselves. Where to live is a very personal choice and may depend on:

  • Work location:  For employees working in Ras Laffan, it is compulsory to travel by Shell transportation to and from Ras Laffan. Therefore it will be more convenient to live near the primary Shell bus hubs. Employees working in Al Mirqab can choose to take Shell transportation.
  • School location
  • Your budget
